Apihist cough expectorant is a combination of diphenhydramine, sodium citrate and ammonium chloride is an antitussive and expectorant cough mixture. Antitussives are used to suppress or relieve/sooth coughing, while expectorants stimulates the respiratory tract to increase the production of bronchial secretions.
